I'm cycling the world for mental health

Neil, 39 who hails from Georgeham, Devon, England has always been the adventurous type. So when the chance arose to pursue a lifelong dream to cycle round the world it was too good to turn down.

As someone who suffers from Anxiety, Neil recognised this as the ideal opportunity to raise awareness of Mental health issues at the same time.

The global challenge to inspire others

Sometimes it takes big, bold, brave actions to help highlight the smaller daily challenges so many of us face. Will you join Neil in leaving that front door far behind and burst into the open world for an adventure of a lifetime!

How and why

Neil has so far enlisted the help of a personal trainer and sports nutritionist to ensure he stands the best chance of completing the trip.

Neil is hoping to use the ride to generate £25,000 for the mental health charity Mind via Just Giving.

Neil is no stranger to ambitious physical challenges having competed in the world’s oldest Nordic Skiing race in Mora, Sweden called Vasaloppet in 2016.

Physical well being and nutrition is key

Neils team are making sure he stays in peak physical condition leading up to and throughout his trip.

Neil’s nutritional therapist has worked with the likes of big wave surfers Andrew Cotton and Garrett Mcnamara. He will teach Neil to read his body’s needs and make sure he eats correctly during his trip.
